  2. Enrollment periods: You have several enrollment periods to sign up for Medicare Part A. The Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is seven months surrounding your 65th birthday. The General Enrollment Period (GEP) is from January 1st to March 31st each year, and there's also a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for certain circumstances.
  3. Visit the Social Security Administration (SSA) website: Go to the official Social Security website at www.ssa.gov.
